Eagle Industries, Inc. provides customers with the finest metal stamping and precision sheet metal components and assemblies in New England and beyond. Started back in 1973 in Sanford, Maine, Nils Sjulander and two partners focused on on metal and plastic stampings. The business flourished because customers saw and recognized the quality product that was being produced.
Over time, they expanded their manufacturing capabilities which broadened their value-added services to their customers. In 1986 they built a new facility in Hollis Center, Maine.
This 27,000 square foot facility has evolved over 32 years, now not only running Minster punch presses but a full range of processing equipment. This includes turret presses, fiber lasers and spot-welding machines, providing Eagle the luxury to manufacture a wide array of sheet metal components for their clients. Eagle Industries is now being managed by Jon Sjulander, Nils’ son, and Lars Sjulander, Jon’s son.
Like many small family-owned and operated businesses they didn’t inherit their positions, they worked on the shop floor and learned the trade first before moving up into management roles. Given their history and knowledge of the trade from the floor to the supervisor desk, they have the luxury of being able to cover any missing employee’s work station and have built a respect with their employees and clients for working their way up the company and being familiar with all aspects of the business.
Customer needs are paramount. Eagle takes great pride in offering precision sheet metal fabrications and components without ever sacrificing quality or customer service. They start with prototyping, laser cutting, wire EDM and forming to in-house tool design resulting in high volume stamping when necessary. This process can continue right through to final assembly and kitting per customer requirements. Whether it is one or one million parts, Eagle’s flexibility accommodates all its customers’ requests.
This stainless steel formed part is just a small sample of parts Eagle workers were able to produce in high precision.
With 47 years of experience and expertise, Eagle Industries continues the production of small metal enclosures, electronic chassis and countless other flat or formed precision sheet metal parts accurately and on time. They offer competitive Northern New England prices, from prototype to production volume for all your sheet metal fabrication and metal formed requirements.
With their in-house engineering and maximum efficiencies, Eagle Industries can provide complete value-added sheet metal fabrication and assemblies and meet the needs and expectations of their clients.
With a wide range of assembly services, Eagle Industries can offer custom options and a level of customer satisfaction that has put their business at the forefront of the industry for sheet metal fabrication and assemblies. All their finishing and assembly work – including hardware insertion, welding and spot welding is done with the same attention to detail, follow-through and efficiency that they apply to all of their manufactured products.
Precision, tight tolerance parts, like these, are just part of their normal day.
Safety and cleanliness are paramount at Eagle Industries. The company boasts an impressive mark of having over 10 1/2 years without a lost time injury. Their yearly safety training requirements, quarterly safety reports & daily stretching exercises help ensure employees work safely, comfortably and efficiently; resulting in increased productivity, on time delivery and general employee satisfaction. Retention is rarely an issue at the family run business, as many of Eagle’s employees have remained with the company over 15 years and even one employee recently celebrated 43 years with the company. Eagle is a true ‘family’ business, instilling the values of a small business with New England work ethic & quality craftsmanship.
They also offer Just In Time (JIT), reverse engineering, rapid prototyping and
KANBAN services. In 2017, Eagle was awarded the Supplier of the Year award for quality from a Fortune 1000 company.
As they move toward their second half century in business, Eagle Industries is committed to the future. The acquisition of state-of-the-art equipment allows them to better meet the needs of their ever-expanding customer base. Recent equipment updates include a new Amada turret press, 4000-watt Prima fiber laser and a Virtek Laser QC Vision System for inspection or reverse engineering of parts.
Eagle Industries receives high marks from clients and employees as they provide on-time and customer focused service. The values of a small New England business combined with the flexibility to change with the times ensures that Eagle Industries is a great partner as they meet the needs of their customers with pride and high-level performance.
