How on earth are we nearing the end of summer?

Feels like we never had the opportunity to take a vacation…

That said, there’s still time. The days will continue to be warm, and, as we navigate “socially distant” existences, we’ve all seemed to find our own comfortable piece of the beach on which to reside for an afternoon or two. Aware of our surroundings, and welcoming that we’re all still enjoying the same seasonal opportunities as best we can – just applying a different filter to the experience. And, in a roundabout way, that’s what our “industry spotlight” focuses on this month… Taking a closer look at the pandemic we’re in the middle of navigating and understanding the woes of supply chain shortages. The lessons we pull from these fragmented, individual experiences will strengthen our future if we put them to action.

What do the links in your chain look like? Does it make sense to add, or subtract a link or two? Some say there’s value in an infinitely long chain, and some will make the argument that a shorter chain is stronger to the pull. At the end of the day, if there’s rust and a bit of corrosion, we need to inspect what’s at play… Because not addressing what’s in front of us can be detrimental to our company’s health. With that, we hope you enjoy the latest Gateway Magazine, and, as always, reach out with any comments and/or to let us know how you’re doing.
