HARTFORD, Conn., April 15th, 2021 – The STANLEY + Techstars Accelerator is proud to announce its third annual Demo Day on April 29. This will mark the culmination of an intensive, three-month program which helps startup founders accelerate their businesses through investment, resources and mentorship.

This year, when selecting companies, the STANLEY + Techstars Accelerator placed an emphasis on those working on solving problems within advanced manufacturing and Industry 4.0 with AI based solutions that impact the factory floor.

The selected companies range from hardware to software, touching on robotics, automation and often creating combined hardware, and software solutions.

Three companies part of this years’ cohort are aiming to change how we think of manufacturing by innovating how and when we make:

HILOS: Changing How The World Makes With Zero-Waste, On-Demand Product.

With a proprietary software design platform and sustainable, on-demand manufacturing facilities, HILOS is changing how the world makes by integrating circular manufacturing. As fashion retail is one of the most polluting industries, HILOS is targeting fashion footwear first.

    Sensai Analytics: Scalable Demand Forecasting

They have developed a tool to predict demand for new products, and help manufacturers drive revenue growth and make more with less waste.

MODICA: Self-Organizing, Self-Healing Modular Microfactories, Deployed Anywhere

They utilize prefab shipping container trends to create software-driven modular mini-factories. The goal is automated, flexible manufacturing with reduced upfront and ongoing systems integration costs.

Learn more about these companies and others by attending Virtual Demo Day on April 29 at 12pm EST. Click here for more information
